My name is Mayumi Bryant , and I am honored to welcome you to Youth Capital Academy.

I was born and raised in North Philadelphia, in a neighborhood where hope often felt far away and opportunities were hard to find. Growing up in poverty, becoming a mother at a young age, and navigating life’s many obstacles, I learned early that success isn’t about where you start — it’s about the belief that you can grow, lead, and change your story.

Through years of perseverance, I earned my financial advisor license and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Business. But more importantly, I discovered a calling: to give back, lift up, and build a bridge for the next generation of leaders.

Youth Capital Academy was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every young person deserves a chance to thrive.

Here, we equip our students with business fundamentals, leadership skills, and the life lessons that aren’t always taught in school. We create a safe space where dreams are nurtured, failures are lessons, and success is measured by growth, not just grades.

I started this Academy because I see myself in every young person who wonders if there’s more out there for them — and I know the answer is YES.

Whether you are a student, a parent, a volunteer, or a supporter, you are now part of a movement to build futures that are bigger and brighter than any obstacle.
