At Youth Capital Academy, we change that.

In just our first year, we secured approximately $30,000 in funding to bring free financial literacy, entrepreneurship, empowerment, and diversion programs to youth across Philadelphia. Through hands-on lessons, games, mentorship, and business-building experiences, students are learning how to budget, make smarter decisions, and believe in their potential.

In our Purpose to Profit program, selected youth receive mentorship and the opportunity to earn up to $500 in startup funding to launch their own businesses.

We also understand that children learn best when their basic needs are met. That’s why we provide meals and snacks during our programs to ensure students have the energy and focus they need to succeed. In addition, YCA operates a food pantry and resource support for families facing food insecurity.
